Privacy and Data Protection Policy

This Privacy and Data Protection Policy has been prepared by BOA Law Firm within the framework of Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Complied with in Fulfilling the Disclosure Obligation .

BOA Law Firm aims to fulfill its obligation to protect the privacy and personal data of our users and clients in the most accurate way, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the Attorneyship Law (AvK) in Turkey and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) . This policy explains the purposes for which the personal data of our clients and website visitors are processed, how this data is protected and user rights.

1. Data Collected and Purposes of Processing

When you visit our website or contact us, some of your personal data may be collected, such as your IP address, browser type, session information, approximate location provided by your internet service provider and the cookies you use .

These data are processed for the following limited purposes:

• Ensuring the security of our website and threat protection,

• Developing the services offered and customizing them to your needs,

While your data is protected by hardware and software tools developed by Synology Inc. on our closed-circuit local servers, it is also stored redundantly on cloud servers provided by Google , Microsoft and Apple .

Your digital data is secured by the data security standards adopted by our office and is also protected in a comprehensive security corridor against unauthorized access and infiltration attempts.

BOA Law Firm processes and preserves all information shared by its clients within the framework of the confidentiality obligation regulated in Article 36 of the Attorneyship Law . Confidentiality of client information can only be shared in cases required by legal regulations or within the scope of the obligation to notify the competent authorities. Apart from this, your data will not be shared with third parties in any way or will not be used or stored for any other purpose without your permission.

5. Data Owner's Rights

Personal data owners have the following rights in accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed,

• Requesting access to processed personal data,

• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

• To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, either domestically or abroad,

• Request correction of deficiencies in data,

• Requesting deletion or destruction of data,

• Request that your data be used only for specific purposes,

• To object to processing activities and exercise the right to data portability.

• Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Law,

• To object to a result that is to the detriment of the person himself/herself, as a result of the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automatic systems,

• To request compensation in case of damages due to unlawful processing of personal data,
